According to all signs, the vote will be granted, as many countries, including Russia, are lining up their support behind the PA. And the UN will not even ask the Palestinians to recognize the right for the Jewish state to exist!
At this point, it seems, only a veto from the U.S. will put an end to this unilateral move of the Palestinians who want to skip the negotiations and get what they want without Israel’s involvement or giving anything in return. However, should the U.S. use the veto, the probability of a war will become a reality.

The bride is part of Israel and Israel is part of the bride!
This is so clearly seen in the majestic vision by the angel in Revelation when he says: “Come I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Revelation 21:9-14; emphasis added)
This is actually entirely consistent with many other scriptural references which hold that in the end there will be only ONE FLOCK, ONE ISRAEL OF GOD, ONE BODY, ONE JERUSALEM, ONE BRIDE – Jew and Gentile forged into one Tree or Commonwealth of Israel.
Under the strong influence of the separation – which particularly Constantine, the Roman emperor, was responsible for – which cut the Gentile church off from its original Jewish tree and roots, Christianity became a separate, distinct religion. And even after the Reformation and various evangelical and charismatic awakenings, Gentile believers on the whole were taught that they belonged to a separate body called the church, or Bride of Christ. that would one day be separately treated with a heavenly rapture before the Lord in His mercy returns to Israel.
This, however, is NOT what the Bible teaches, and certainly in this wonderful passage in The Revelation we unmistakably find that Israel – all the tribes of Israel -are seen as part of the bride or the heavenly Jerusalem. Continue on in Post

Israel Destructive-From the Front
An ICZC Commentary:
By freeing Marwan Barghouti with all the other Hamas and Fatah prisoners, Israel will cause the only man charismatic enough to be able to do so to unite the Palestinian people – Fatah and Hamas into one.
Hamas will become the controlling factor in all upcoming negotiations with Israel, and will possibly also be the winner in future elections among the Arabs in Judea and Samaria.
The formerly-held red line – “no release of prisoners directly involved with the murder of Israeli citizens” – will have been crossed, stimulating suicide and other terrorists to widen their activity, especially in the kidnapping of any Israeli they may be able to capture.
God sacrificed His only begotten Son to save the world. (For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…)
Noam Schalit understandably loves his son so much; he is apparently willing to sacrifice some of the best interests of his own people and nation in order to save Gilad from his torturous ordeal. Continue on in Post

DESTROYERS WILL COME OUT
When I read in The Jerusalem Post (July 22) the dangerous and ridiculous words of Debra DeLee, the President and CEO of Americans for Peace Now; knowing that she has a willing ally in White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel who is also a strong supporter of Peace Now’s self-destructive folly: I realize that the ancient verse: “Your destroyers will come out of your own midst” is dangerously true of the reality today.
This is what DeLee dares write in her Obama-supporting article:
We at Americans for Peace Now, and our friends at Israel’s Peace Now movement, believe that for the sake of its security, stability and long-term wellbeing, Israel should immediately reverse the settlement enterprise. And now, particularly now, instead of seeking “shticks and tricks” to evade a settlement freeze-in the words of New York Congressman Gary Ackerman, a staunch friend of Israel-Netanyahu should do whatever it takes to take advantage of the opportunity that Obama proposes
Obviously, the Palestinians should take steps to show that they are serious about peace negotiations and Arab governments should do their part to support peace efforts, and the president is pushing on these fronts. WITH PEACE HE WILL DESTROY MANY
Yes, everyone wants peace, and there has probably never been a time when so many false messiahs and so-called peacemakers have come to the front of the stage, proclaiming the change towards a new world order in which all humans will be treated fairly and with equality. Who would not want such a world?
Barack Hussein Obama is doing this masterfully, reaching out to all religions, to the young and the old, the poor and the rich. ‘No more walls of separation and discrimination,’ he promised the crowds that gathered to hear him in Berlin, and thus he has continued, stretching out his hand to the whole Muslim world in Cairo, and later standing with the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, and Eli Wiesel at the horrendous site of Buchenwald, to proclaim that what was done there is not the way human beings should act. In his speech, Wiesel asked the question: has the world of today really changed and learned this lesson? Of course not. Continue on in Post

IT IS ALL FOR NOTHING

I cannot believe that a nation endowed with so much intelligence can be so self-destructive. Listening – as I do – to all the debates about which is the best way for Israel to go at this time, I am amazed at the utter idiocy of the solutions proposed by both the Gentile powers as well as some Israeli politicians.
What is the reason? How can a nation endowed by the Creator with so much intelligence be blind to what is so clear for any person who has the honesty to face the truth to see?
Let’s begin with the unintelligent notion of the two state solution being peddled so hard now via George Mitchell in the name of the new Obama administration. Wasn’t this notion tried – for almost three years! – under the leadership of Ehud Olmert’s government, which often demonstrated its willingness to give the Arabs about 97% of the so-called occupied territories? And it failed in spite of Olmert’s unbelievable willingness to make painful, very painful sacrifices. Continue on in Post
